Crafting pop with a suitably indie edge (whatever indie truly stands for these days), Apsley has been hard at work in the kitchen, cooking up over 40 new tracks for his latest solo project.

New cut “Fear” is a cracking offering, blending infectious vocal lines with heavy electronic drum fills – think The 1975 with far more allure. Accompanied by a smattering of electric guitars, “Fear” showcases his sound to the fullest.

“Fear is the third track I’ve released under my solo project,” remarks Apsley. “The song speaks of the lies that bind us in our mind. We can become paralysed by the fear of losing the things we value the most in life, as if our value is not in us but in the things around us. I believe until we let go of fear we cannot truly enjoy life or love.”

Life in the music industry started early for the musician, who fund himself touring full time in a rock group while finishing his schooling online. 2016 saw him merge everything from electro to hip-hop in order to start his new writing project, and so Apsley was born.
