If quirky helpings of indie pop are what your Monday’s demanding, scoop yourself a spoonful of Farewell Dear Ghost.

Unleashing their new cut “Pink Noise“, these lads have crafted an earworm of a track for your listening pleasure. Led by infectious guitar lines and surging synths, “Pink Noise” is a worthy playlist addition.

As always, the lyrical nerds over at One Stop Record Shop have done their research, and as such, can categorically tell you that ‘Pink Noise’ does in fact refer to: a certain frequency spectrum audible to humans, and occurring in a number of natural sounds, from traffic flow to waterfalls, but also the human heartbeat.

These countless frequencies are used as a metaphor by the cheeky chaps of Farewell Ghost to represent ‘the infinite number of places the human mind can go; somewhere between darkness and light, considering the outside world’s influence on the complexity of mind, body and soul.’

Well then, at least we’ve got that one sorted!
