Terra Lightfoot

It’s soulful, it’s rammed full of reverb, and first and foremost, it’s goddamn infectious.

The latest sonic offering from Terra Lightfoot, fresh cut “Paradise” does precisely what it says on the tin. Layered with indulgent guitars, tinkering synths and an undulating blues-filled chorus, this is well worth a listen – or three.

“For me, “Paradise” is about letting go of perfection in love,” notes Terra. “It’s not wrestling with the problems and missteps in our relationships but embracing them. I think it’s a more realistic way to look at love and it gives me some comfort to know I’m not standing there with rose-coloured glasses on.”

Blending the old with the new, “Paradise” is a blissful, guitar-laden offering of the most delightful order. Taken from her upcoming EP, New Mistakes, released 13 October. In the meantime, be sure to click play below.
