The Beach review Bite My Tongue

Blending soothing guitar lines with arena-worthy choruses, George Morgan, A.K.A. The Beach, is a name you ought to have on your radar by now.

His latest release, “Bite My Tongue“, has all the markings of a summer smash – albeit with a chilly January release date. Having recently picked up a fair bit of traction online, the track cleverly interlaces mellow acoustics with soaring energy levels and infectious cries of “but it’s too late//Too late//Too late.”

Born out of recording sessions undertaken in a cupboard-sized Clapham studio, Morgan and producer Max Hosinger (an ex-next door neighbour) created sweet, sweet music. And no, that’s not some sort of innuendo. Of the track, Morgan remarks, The song is about saying something in the heat of the moment and then instantly wishing you could take it back. The video was so much fun to make and I think we captured the raw energy of the song in the heart of the amazing La Mercè Festival in Barcelona.

Needless to say this lad is destined for big things. Check out the track below and let us know your thoughts!
