Invading the UK from the island of Mallorca, indie five-piece The Prussians are here to entertain with fresh cut “Soul”.

Unleashing a sound drizzled with grit, drama and driving guitars, the band’s latest track is a steadily building offering. Interlacing dancing guitar lines with unrelenting rhythm, the track harbours dark yet reflective undertones that are sure to captivate even the most critical listener.

“The intention was to create a story of sensations and emotions and less of a strict narrative. The scenes are decontextualised and there is no continuity between them because we want the viewer to fill in the gaps in the story. I was interested in creating a realistic world but in a dreamlike and melancholic way, where the claustrophobic atmosphere catches and envelops you,” – JiaJie Yu Yan

The track’s accompanying video is rammed with top notch cinematography courtesy of director JiaJie Yu Yan. Pairing striking visuals with a deconstructed narrative, this crisp offering is well worth a watch.

And with brand new album, Karma, set to drop later this year, we’re expecting more sizzling tracks to heat up this chilly, snow covered nation.
