We hate sounding like a broken record but… Arms Akimbo have unleashed yet another smash. And the problem is, we can’t help but click repeat on this indie pop anthem.
The 3rd release ripped kicking and screaming from their The Wrong Kind Of Dance Party EP, “None Of My Business” is as infectious as they come. Melding a thoroughly inoffensive dose of American pop-rock (you know, the twangless kind that won’t end up pissing you off after a few listens) with hook-heavy choruses, these boys know how to craft a banger.
“This song was birthed out of the desire to write a punk tune – uptempo and in your face,” note the band. “It’s riddled with light 808’s, biting vocals and jangly offset guitars… This sort-of happy accident led us in a completely new direction unlike the folk-rock and the punk.”
