Colour Unveil New Single Nowhere On One Stop Record Shop

If wholesome indie-pop is what you’re after, then you needn’t look further than today’s offering from four chaps that go by the name of Colour.

Hailing from the North (it’s one big mystery you see), these four blokes have set out on a musical crusade to enlighten your eardrums. “Nowhere” is the follow up to their wave-making debut “Strangers“, a track that packed enough punch to see them take to a sold out stage at Liverpool Music Week, alongside buckets of praise from multiple industry big-hitters.

Their latest release is enough to secure the band’s reputation as a credible musical offering. As introductions go, “Nowhere” boasts building exuberance by the bucket load, a creation reminiscent of a “Won’t Get Fooled Again” / ABBA infused hybrid that’s been brought kicking and screaming into the twenty-first century.

The song proceeds to take a right turn at ‘Indie’, making its way down a well-trodden rockier path. Panging guitars and crashing ride cymbals combine with the intense, soaring vocals of frontman James Tidd. It’s an altogether pleasant affair, combining top notch offerings from across the pop, rock and indie spectrums. This is a band you’ll certainly be hearing more from in the coming months.

Fancy seeing these boys in action? You can catch them at The Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on March 21st.
