kyros monster

If you’re on the hunt for heavy guitars and intense drum fills, the only question I have is why the hell haven’t you discovered Kyros yet?

Unleashing a monster in the form of, er, “Monster“, the track blends driving instrumentals with a pièce de résistance in the form of the hooky-as-hell chorus (that oddly reminds us of an Oasis throwback).  On a critical note, it could be said that the vocals feel a little lost behind the heavier instrumentals at points – something that’s more down to overall production than the bands ability. Accompanied by a video that resembles an animated post-apocalyptic Western, let’s be honest, you’ve got to give it a watch.

Standing independent from the labels, Kyros are embracing a more pop ordinated sound with their similarly titled EP Monster. The British outfit – formed of Adam Warne, Joey Frevola, Sam Higgins, Peter Episcopo and Robin Johnson – have been picking up traction among rock fans online over the past months and look set for a storming 2017.
