Wide Eyed Boy

Bleary eyed pop is the order of the day, with Wide Eyed Boy seving up a prime and indulgent offering.

We’re excited to premiere “Loving You Is So Easy“, a storming new track that blends bubbling choruses and infectious guitar lines, with a surging and altogether darker undercurrent. The sophmore track taken from their self-titled album, “Loving You Is Easy” marries quintessential pop hooks with an altogether rockier, funk-heavy vibe. Produced by the one and only Rich Turvey (Cabbage, Blossoms, Darlia), his signature fingerprints are clear to see.

Hailing from the musical heartlands of Liverpool, Wide Eyed Boy joined forces in the renowned musical boiling pot that is LIPA. Bonding over pop gods like Bowie, MJ and with a mutual appreciation for all things Wombat shaped, the recipe is two parts British, one part German, all topped off with an Australian garnish. This four-piece are onto something good, with cracking hooks and an indulgently indie edge.

A must listen for fans of Twin Wild, Circa Waves and Tom Grennan, these chaps are harnesses an area of the pop wilderness once inhabited by the likes of Maroon 5. Check out the video below and let us know your thoughts!
