Amy Guess is a name you need on your radar. If this Las Vegas lady’s aquamarine hair isn’t striking enough, then wrap your ears around her fresh track “Comatose”.

Taken from her newly released EP 10 Times Out Of 10, the track was produced by none other than Dove Award winner Rusty Varenkamp. Blending husky vocals reminiscent of baroque/indie pop royalty like Lana Del Rey and Dua Lipa, Guess is similarly adept at tackling the side-order of lethargy that comes with a broken heart. “Comatose“s nails the art of blending sweet key arrangements with pulsating percussion and haunting guitar lines, creating a rebelliously channeled ‘good girl gone bad’ vibe on a track that gives a conventional pop song a slick dance edge.

Having previously written and performed on tracks for Myon, Paris Blohm and, most recently, Nolan Van Lith – whose “All To Myself” is currently soaring through the charts – Amy Guess now steps out on her own with an aim to keep us ‘guessing’ who she’ll conquer next.

A perfectly dark dose of nostalgia to accompany the looming power couple parade that is Valentines Day, “Comatose” will leave you reminiscing… over the sultry stranger you once glimpsed on the top deck of the 207.
