Tenuous links aside, today’s slick pop offering comes direct from NYC’s Holiday Mountain featuring none other than our beloved Ben Kweller. Embodying the emotional challenges of key life events – from bereavements to break-ups and everything in between – the track is an upbeat take on topics that are generally considered fairly bleak.
Produced by Zander Kagle, the juxtaposing tone and subject matter are a nod to perseverance and marching on, acknowledging the journey but appreciating where you are and your final destination.
Ripped from Holiday Mountain’s new album Miles and Miles, the track is just a taster of what’s to come from the songwriter, AKA Laura Patiño.
