A firm favourite of One Stop Record Shop, soulful pop sensation Huxlee has once again returned with a powerful new offering.
“Ugly” is the fresh faced follow up to last month’s “Big Breath In“. Featuring a melancholy edge contrasted by the cut’s radiant melodies, we meant it when we said Huxlee was capable of crafting “hearty helpings of indie-pop with all the trimmings.”
It’s an ever-building track, blending haunting choruses and raw percussion. She’s an artist that shows gleaming promise in the songwriting department and one that we’re constantly excited to hear more from.
