Smoking Martha

If a heavier sound is what you’re hunting for on this fine specimen of a Wednesday, look no further than Aussie rockers Smoking Martha.

New track “Say You’re Mine” comes straight off the back of the success of recent single “What’s Her Name?”. Forming part of the band’s forthcoming album In Deep, it will be interesting to see what the band have been cooking up in the 3 years since the release of their last EP.

The new single blends relentless, surging beats with the seductive vocals of songstress Tasha D. It’s a furious show of force that’s well worth a few minutes of your time.

“The songs in the album describe a series of unwanted feelings and circumstances that make us feel sometimes trapped but sometimes more passionate and therefore we get in so deep that it consumes us.” – Tasha D

Tasha D explains, “the songs in the album describe a series of unwanted feelings and circumstances that make us feel sometimes trapped but sometimes more passionate and therefore we get in so deep that it consumes us. So deep that there is no other option than to dig deeper and push harder, no matter the outcome.”

Having already supported the likes of Seether, Thunder and Cherie Currie (The Runaways) over the course of recent years, Smoking Martha have gathered a loyal international cult-like following.
