A indie-rock offering of the most infectious kind, it’s time you got to know Norwegian trio Spielbergs.
Fresh cut “Distant Star” is the title track ripped kicking and screaming from their fresh EP (released 27th April). Melding fierce guitar solos (capable of shaking your speakers to their very core) with intriguing pop hooks that lure you in quicker than you can say ‘hit’, this group have something special about them.
The follow-up to debut single “We Are All Going To Die“, their anthemic sound is the perfect blend of raw garage rock and radio friendly frivolity.
“It’s about feeling lost in the grey of everyday life, wanting to change things up and start from scratch,” notes lead vocalist Mads Baklien.“Distant Star tries to capture that feeling of being stuck in relationships and leaving the responsibility for your own happiness in the hands of your close ones.”
