Little Brother Eli new single hanging

It may not be Sunday morning but it’s confession time – the folk of One Stop Record Shop are suckers for blues laden rock tracks.

From the raw guitars and distorted vocals, through to the relentless pound of a bass drum, there’s really nothing quite like it. Little Brother Eli‘s latest release “Hanging” is a shining example of just that, combining driving beats and hair raising guitar licks in a bid to create blues infused rock of the purest form.

And you know what the best part is? These chaps aren’t in fact from some far flung American state you’d struggle to pinpoint on a map, they’re from right here in our very own temporarily un-United Kingdom. Comprised of  Alex Grew and bass player Josh Rigal, alongside guitarist Adam Stowe, drummer Benji Page and lap steel specialist Tom Williams, these chaps are well and truly flying the flag for great music.

Serving up Southern fried charm by the bucket load, Little Brother Eli exude a sound that can only really be compared to a Jack White/Cage The Elephant hybrid. Merging the delights of true Americana with a dash of modernity and a sprinkling of dirty soul, these boys are now on the ‘must listen’ list for every self respecting rock fan.

The boys debut album Cold Tales is set for release September 9th and contains a sound you’d be criminal to miss out on.
