It’s August, which means it’s time for OSRS to serve up a fresh new heap of tunes for your listening pleasure.

This month we’ve got our mitts on some absolute gems – Superorganism, we’re looking at you. Quirky levels of compression and surging synths create a brilliantly trippy and unmissable track. Beaches are serving up a gem in the form of “Void” – think roaring guitars and pounding fills – alongside flavour of the month The Rocking Horse Club, a band causing a nuisance to sexists and racists across the land.

Big hitters DON BROCO have returned in style with the heavy hitting riff “Technology”. Alongside the infallible Everything Everything, it’s time you cut yourself a slice of “A Fever Dream”. Our favourite Freddie Mercury-esque rock gods The Struts have returned (and they’ve only gone and bagged a support slot with Foo Fighters), “One Night Only” is not to be missed.

Sparrows have “Taken My Heart Out” with a sinister dose of indie, blending dark harmonies with infectious Misterwives-esque choruses. Kodaline have returned in style, with “Brother” bringing a tear to the eyes of music lovers across the country. Dan Croll is back to fine form following the release of his album Emerging Adulthood bringing infectious pop cuts to your unsuspecting eardrums. Marble Empire have brought a heavy sound to the table with the “TTSU“, alongside Gin Wigmore‘s wondrous “Beatnik Trip“.
